Joining the DuraSlic team in April 2022, Brian Finn, IDA brings nearly three decades of detailing experience to the table. He was also recently named 2022 IDA Detailer of the Year, a title only 5 detailers in the world have. Along with that, Brian is also an RIT for the IDA, of which there are only 38 in the world.

Brian’s passion for detailing cars came at an early age when his father asked him to clean and wax the brand new Chevy Cavalier sitting in the garage. When his father came to inspect his work, he was blown away at how good the car looked.

“Brian, you really have a touch for this work. You might be able to do something with this talent!”

After starting his detailing career in Southern California, Brian met his mentor, Javier. Javier took Brian under his wing and showed him firsthand that he could succeed in the detailing industry if he put in the hard work.

Like many in our world, Brian has faced many ups and downs throughout his detailing career. He kept pushing through and getting better at his craft to get to where he is today.

“For any detailer out there struggling to achieve success, you must always keep on pushing through, learn more and build a great support network. I have been in your shoes, and I know it’s hard to not give up, but if you stick with it, you can achieve great things.”
