Kansas City’s up-and-coming detailer sits down with DuraSlic

Chance Gosewisch has been passionate about cars since birth. He spent countless hours in a shop and eventually turned that passion into a profession. Chance honed his skills for 8 years, then decided it was time to realize his dream of having his own detail shop. In 2022, Chance became both DuraSlic and IDA certified and is now ready to serving the Kansas City area. DuraSlic sat down with Chance as he told the story of Prestige Auto Spa & Ceramic Coatings.

Why you love owning and operating your business: I love having my own business because it’s a business I’m passionate about. I love cars and I absolutely love keeping them clean. I believe cars is a language anybody in the community can communicate through. It brings people together & the work I do reunites people with their cars.

Which DS product is your favorite and why: I love DuraSlic because of their formulation in the ceramic coatings. The oleophobic properties in the ceramic is a great selling point to new clients. The results speak for themselves. DuraSlic is a great company with great people & I really look forward to growing within the company and hopefully becoming the #1 installer in Kansas and Missouri.

The coolest car you’ve worked on: The coolest car I’ve worked on is a 1993 Atrai Daihatsu HiJet van. It was quite a unique vehicle. It was a hunting vehicle in place of a RZR. So, it was quite the project as well. But man, it was cool!
